Village Veterinary Hospital provides a comprehensive range of veterinary services to the people and pets of Kilkenny and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing a high standard of vet care in a professional and compassionate manner. Along with medical, surgical and dental services Village Veterinary also provides client information and guidance for various aspects of your pet's well-being

and welfare. We realise that many of our clients view their pet as part of the family. With this in mind, and in order to provide the level of care you would expect for your pet, we have invested considerably in our hospital facilities and staff training and education and have a programme of constant re-investment and upgrading of both skill and equipment levels. Village Veterinary Hospital provides a farm animal and equine service up to a ten mile radius of Kilkenny city. In January 2010 Village Veterinary Surgery also opened in Castlecomer. Tom Downey and Pat O Brien will provide comprehensive veterinary care in the surgery in Castlecomer along with a full time veterinary nurse, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5 pm. We currently have many clients in the Castlecomer area, so we are pleased to offer them a more local service, but we are also looking forward to welcoming people who may not be familiar with us. This website is designed to inform you about our services and facilities and to act as a source of information on many aspects of pet health and well-being.

This female French bulldog puppy was found out and about in Kilkenny today. Possibly strayed from somebody’s house ( hopefully not dumped). She has no microchip that we can find. If she is yours or you know who she belongs to, please call the clinic (if closed, contact the out of hours number given on our message).
Happy Christmas to all.
Please do not ask to rehome her. If her owner is not found, she will be rehomed through the official channels which is the dog warden service.
Update - rehomed through dog warden service. Thanks to all for likes and shares.
