We have to protect the nesting birds and mammals. Illegal from 1st March till 1st september to cut hedges .

As Dday approaches all rescues would like to remind everyone of the hedge cutting ban from
🚫March 1 to September 1🚫
This is one tiny bit of legislation in place to protect nesting birds and mammals.
No doubt about it, councils and farmers will be out in force next week, slashing everything in sight. Mind blowing why it cant be done in January and February. Soul destroying. People are sick of reporting it, I know that Im preaching to the converted but please continue to use your voice. The law is on your side.
