Poor Buddy was cruelly set on fire and strangled with an extension cord, by a 12-year-old kid... Now, after a long road of recovery, he's finally getting the happy ending he deserves... 🥲❤️

Forget the price tag -- this is the true cost of eggs.
Chick culling.
Standard practice for all egg production, because when unfertilized eggs are your business, you don't want millions of roosters.

These are male chicks -- about 1 day old.
While these babies are being tossed alive into a grinder - deemed 'appropriate' disposal - other chicks are just left to suffocate or starve in garbage bins and dumpsters.

200-300 MILLION male chicks are culled every year, in the U.S. alone.

Justice for the Pelsham Farm Fox today after 4 members of the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt were found guilty of hunting a wild mammal with dogs in breach of the Hunting Act. Police who attended on the day, found the fox's severed leg and guts left on the ground. 😔

Their defence included some gems from the hapless BHSA employed barrister Stephen Welford, including that the huntsman couldn't hear the hounds in cry after the fox over the sound of cows mooing in a barn and a tractor driving past! There was also a story concocted about a distressed hound trapped in the barn!

Much more to follow where we will dive in to all the farcical lies told in court today. All of which was watched by the British Hound Sports Association's executive director Julian Barnfield who sat in the public gallery throughout.

Congratulations to Dorset Police for getting another of Dorset's fox hunts convicted. We all know how high the bar is for getting Hunting Act offences into court.

Afterlife & A Loss For Words
I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying...you found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear.
"It's me, I haven't left you...I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea.
You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today, you tend it with such care.
I want to reassure you that I am not lying there.
I walked with you toward the house, as you fumbled for your key,
I gently put my paw on you. I smiled and said, "It's me."
You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know that I was standing there.
It's possible for me to be so near you every day.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...
In the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.
The day is over...I smile and watch you yawning
And say, "Goodnight, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and we will stand, side-by-side.

I BOUGHT SHAWARMA AND COFFEE FOR A HOMELESS MAN — IN RETURN, HE GAVE ME A NOTE AND TOLD ME TO READ IT AT HOME.

That evening, the thermometer showed 26.6°F. The wind cut through my coat, and snowflakes stung my cheeks. All I wanted was to get home, take a hot bath, and sip cocoa. But as I approached the shawarma stand near the corner, my steps faltered.

There he was — a man wrapped in tattered fabric, trembling as a scrappy dog pressed against him for warmth. His rough, pleading voice broke through the cold.
