Rua & Roxy

These gorgeous babies are looking for a forever home. They were found near the Cliffs of Moher. No owner has come forward and the finders can't keep them as they already have 4 cats. The kittens are safe with the finder until a suitable forever home or foster can be found.

Rua (ginger, possibly male) and Roxy (tabby & white, possibly female) are approx 14-16 weeks old. They are bonded so need to be re-homed as a pair.

Their finder says "They are gaining in confidence every day. They are not quite touchable yet but I have a feeling it won't be long, certainly for little Roxy who is the braver of the two. They are absolutely adorable."

The kittens would need to be kept safely indoors for at least a couple of weeks to get used to their new surroundings.

🎊🎊 Found Safe & Sound 🎊🎊

** Missing Cat - Rahylin Glebe/Ballybane **

This small 3 years old partially sighted cat is missing from her home in Rahylin Glebe Ballybane since yesterday.

She is normally mostly indoors but managed to escape out and her owners are searching the locality to no avail.

Any help locating her greatly appreciated.

This is so sad. 🥲

‼️ SPECIAL HEARTBREAKING APPEAL ‼️

💔 GCR recently received a heart-rending email from a charity caseworker acting on behalf of an elderly couple living in an extremely remote area of County Galway.

It outlined a very sad situation whereby the couple both have end stage diagnoses and very soon there will be no one to care for their pet & feral cats.

There are 3-5 tame cats amongst the colony (we are liaising with the GSPCA to secure Cattery space for these) but the balance are TNR’d ferals who require outdoor farm/barn cat type offers from you the public.

We really hope people can dig deep and think of a loved one who could find themselves in this situation and how by adopting a pair of ferals (we believe they should go to new locations in pairs) that the couple can face their last days with the comfort of knowing their colony have access to shelter, food & good care into the future.

We plan a site visit this Saturday which will help us assess the situation better and we would love to have some offers in place before we make the sad and arduous journey to their home.

We will help with setting up these cats with their confinement needs at their new locations and provide what’s required for that time with regards to litter and food.

Please please we beg help us to help the ultimate in tragic cases and know by doing so you will be rewarded by the knowledge that you have made someone’s last weeks so much easier and less troubled.
