✨ A Little Fighter Named Tic Tac ✨

When Tic Tac first came to us at Bushypark Vets, he was a very sick little cat. He was quiet, weak, and clearly not himself — his family were incredibly worried.
After a work-up he was diagnosed by our vet Róisín with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) — a condition that, not so long ago, carried a very poor prognosis.

But Tic Tac had other plans 💛
With the support of his dedicated family and access to treatment, he began his journey. Day by day, we started to see glimpses of the cat he used to be — brighter eyes, more energy, and that spark returning.

Fast forward to now…
🎉 Tic Tac has completed his treatment — and he has done brilliantly.

Treating cases like this means so much to us. Tic Tac is a perfect example of what can be possible with early recognition, committed care, and the right treatment.

A huge well done to his amazing owners for their dedication — and to Tic Tac, for being such a strong little warrior 🐾
We’re so proud to have been part of his journey.

If your pet ever seems “not quite right,” trust your instincts and get them checked — early intervention can make all the difference.

Cytology tells us what’s hiding inside your pets ears. We take a swab, stain in house and have our findings the same day.

Here is a heavy neutrophil infiltrate which helps guide our treatment options. Dogs with chronic supporative (pus) ear infections are 50% more likely to have a middle ear infection which needs aggressive treatment.
