Established in 1972 by John and Treasa Moore it is now being run by their son David and his wife Verran. Located 6 km from Galway City Centre on the N17 close to Claregalway Village, Rockmount provides for all level of riders. SJI WINTER LEAGUE CURRENTLY RUNNING UNTILL APRIL. ALSO TRAINING SHOWS (WARM UP LESSON FOLLOWED BY JUMPING) ON FRIDAY EVEININGS. RIDING LESSONS:
CHILDREN: Between 4pm and 6pm midweek and all day Saturday
ADULTS: Midweek between 7pm and 9pm Monday to Thursday. LIVERY YARD: Keep your horse or pony at Rockmount and avail of all the the facilities. Help and advice available at all times. BREAKING AND SCHOOLING HORSES AND PONIES: We have years of experience in this area. We can break from the beginning or re school and bring on horses or ponies that might have some problems. SHOWJUMPING YARD: We school and train showjumpers and bring them along to their full potential from local to national shows.
