⚠️Met Éireann have issued a yellow weather warning for Ireland for wind until 11pm tonight⚠️
Please, please ensure all pets are kept safely indoors with you. Storms and strong winds can spark fear in many animals causing extreme anxiety and sadly, they will be more likely to run away. Pets can't understand what’s happening, so it’s up to us, as their guardians to take steps to ensure that animals are kept safe and secure during storms. Please check your fencing and don't leave your dogs unattended outdoors. 🐾
Make sure your pets are microchipped and that the chip is fully registered and the details are up-to-date. Ensure that they are also wearing an I.D tag too. Without a chip, if their ID tag is lost, it can become near-impossible for rescuers to identify your pup so don't take chances with your dog's safety. Both a microchip and a collar with an I.D tag are also required by law.🐾
