🥰 Sundae is a young Spaniel x Poodle with his whole life ahead of him, and he is looking for a very special home. The longer he is with us the more we learn about him. He has received a lot of applications when he was available for adoption previously. 🤝 Since coming into our care, Sundae has had four meet and greets and two home trials, but unfortunately none have been the right match for him. We know his perfect home is out there, but it will need to be with people who truly understand the commitment involved. 🏡

🥰 Sundae is full of classic Springer-type traits. He is incredibly active, intelligent, busy and always on the go. He thrives on interaction and needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy. 😊

🧡TOBO🧡

Tobo is a great little guy, that is looking for a new home, due to a change in family circumstance. He is a largish, Shih-Tzu of almost five years old, and he is just the perfect gentleman. 🧡

However, while he gets on very well with dogs, and has many dog friends, he can be very reactive when on-lead. This makes walking him in an urban environment quite challenging, and any new owner must be prepared to work with him on this. 🐾

Tobo would also be quite happy to live in a rural environment with another dog if we could make a match. He has already met the resident kennel cat without any issues, although a nervous cat may find his enthusiasm a bit overwhelming. He sleeps through the night in his crate. He could live with kids. He is very food motivated. He is very loving and settles in quickly.🧡🐾🏡

Meet Fleur, a beautiful Gordon Setter cross pup with the gentlest soul and the sweetest eyes. Fleur and her four siblings were sadly left behind on a farmer’s property, so the world can still feel a little scary to her at times. Because of her rough start, she is shy when meeting new people, and can bark initially, but you can clearly see how much she does want to engage.🧡

Fleur is slowly learning that she is safe now but she still has a way to go. She has no concept of a collar & lead, and she has never been alone, always having the support of her siblings since she was born. She is particularly startled by new sounds, and will need some help with her toilet training as sometimes she can be scared to go outside. Once she feels secure, her sweet personality will start to shine through.🐾

🌟 POCA - DOG OF THE WEEK🌟

Meet Poca, a handsome little Terrier gentleman with a heart full of love just waiting to shine. Poca came into our care from the pound and is he’s still settling in and undergoing assessment. However, one thing is already very clear; this special boy is going to steal hearts wherever he goes.🥰

Like many dogs who find themselves in a new environment, Poca can be a little shy when first meeting new people. He likes to take a moment to figure things out and build trust at his own pace. But once he knows you, his true personality starts to shine through and it’s impossible not to fall in love with him. 🩵

Beneath that slightly cautious exterior is a happy, affectionate, friendly little chap who enjoys company and being part of the action. Poca has all the charm you’d expect from a Terrier type bright, curious, full of character and always ready to keep an eye on what’s going on around him. He has a lovely gentle side too and it’s been wonderful watching his confidence grow more each day. 🙏

With a patient and understanding home willing to give him the time he needs to settle in, we know Poca is going to blossom into an incredibly loving companion. As he continues his assessment, we’ll learn more about the kind of home that will suit him best but so far he has shown himself to be a really sweet natured boy who simply wants a chance at a fresh start and a family to call his own. 🧡JESSIE🧡

Say hello to the beautiful Jessie. She arrived to us recently and in search of her forever home. Poor Jessie has a few health issues going on but she still is such a bundle of positivity and love. She loves to cuddle and be laid out next to her favourite human.🥰

Jessie will need a home who will be able to support her health as she has several on-going medical issues. She has some eye issues and will most likely need to see a specialist while in our care. Our vet is also querying some cruciate issues and hip dysplasia, which we are looking into.🐾

Despite all this, she is a very active girl who loves going for walks, though she is limited for now due to her hips. She will be best suited to an adult only household with a very secure garden. Do you think you can give Jessie a soft place to land?🏡🧡🐾

🩵WILL🩵

You may have seen the posts about Imara, Roadie & Calypso, such beautiful dogs, emaciated, unloved and abandoned to their fate. We deal with so much heartbreak in this sector, but we are able to keep going because we feel that we can help these dogs. We can help them thanks to your support. Will came to us from a farm environment after his owner became unwell. Will has lived all his life with very little human contact, and certainly very little of it positive contact. 😔

After a vet exam including x-ray, it was discovered that he had a catastrophic old injury to his elbow that was causing him pain, but that could not be repaired at this stage. However much pain he is in now, it must have been horrendous at the time, as it appears to have been left untreated.

Will is about 8 years old, and he is a calm quiet dog, that would do well with a female companion preferably in a rural, or quiet area. He is friendly in his own way, but this does not include anything other than a chin scratch if he trusts you. These are the rules, and we feel he is entitled to set the pace himself now that he has moved into the retirement stage of life.🐾

Will is content to potter around, and is slowly learning how to play again. He will need a secure garden, a canine companion to hang out with, and occasional short walks off the property if he feels like exploring. Will is on pain relief when required, and he is such a sweet, kind boy to have around, he will bring his new owner great joy.🩵🐾
