Our lovely patient Stringer Bell is missing, and his family are desperate to bring him home.

🐾 7-year-old male neutered cat
📍 Last seen in the Ralahine area of Newmarket-on-Fergus

If you live in or around the Ralahine/Newmarket-on-Fergus area, please keep an eye out for him. Even the smallest sighting could make all the difference.

Please also take a few moments to check your sheds, garages, outbuildings, and any other enclosed spaces. Cats can sometimes become trapped or hide away when they’re frightened.

If you think you’ve seen Stringer Bell or have any information, please contact Ennis Veterinary Clinic and we will put you in touch with his family.

Example: 22°C outside = 47°C inside the car in under 30 minutes!

🐶 Know the Signs of Heatstroke:

⚠️ Excessive panting
⚠️ Drooling
⚠️ Lethargy or collapse
⚠️ Vomiting or diarrhoea
⚠️ Red or pale gums
👉 Heatstroke is an emergency — call your vet immediately!

💦 Keep Them Cool:

✅ Always provide fresh, cool water
✅ Walk during early morning or late evening
✅ Provide shade if outside
✅ Use cooling mats, fans, or damp towels indoors

This week, we say a very fond (and emotional!) farewell to Jackie as she heads off on her next big adventure ✨

While we’re all so sad to see her go, we couldn’t be happier for her as she begins this exciting new chapter. Jackie has been such a huge part of our clinic family, bringing laughter, energy, and plenty of stories that had us all living vicariously through her social life!

She’s been a trusted confidant, a true advocate for every animal in her care, and above all, a genuinely kind and supportive friend to us all. Her presence will be missed more than words can say.
