I'd like to wish everyone an extra special
Happy Christmas for 2025 🎅🏻🐶🎅🏻
As I close the pink door on No 5 Shandon Street, it's done with a bit more emotion than previous years as this is the last time I will close this door 😪
So after over 21 years of Dog Grooming in Dungarvan I say goodbye to my little salon in town as I look forward to a new beginning for Trishs Grooming Salon 🥳
I've spent 15½ years at Shandon Street and have loved every minute of my time there, I will sincerely miss it. I am so very proud of what I have built but it is time for a change as life evolves 😊
The saying "If you love you're job, you'll never work a day in your life" is so very true. ✂️ 🐕
Of course there are many stresses and unseen work involved in running a business but that's all made easier when I get to sit with my fluffy friends and give them a little pampering amd see their tail wag 🥰 🐶✂️ 🛁
I've met hundreds and hundreds of dogs over the years and to say it's been a privilege to know them and work with them, is an understatement. I've built such lovely friendships with these dogs and their owners. So it is with mixed emotion that I look forward to welcoming so many of my furry friends to my new location but I am so very sad to say goodbye to so many of my friends that can't join me 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
I must say a huge THANK YOU to all of the wonderful staff I've had working with me throught the years. They gave their time and energy to the growth of the Salon, it couldn't have been done without you. I will be eternally grateful 🙏
To the so many work experience students who chose to spend their time with us, thank you and I hope you came away with something valuable.
Thank you so much to my family and friends who were always there to help when called on and my poor husband for being on call to fix something or other 💕
Bring on 2026. I am very excited as I look forward to the next 20 years of Dog Grooming (a little closer to home)
