🦎✨ Crested Gecko Fun Facts! ✨🦎
Think crested geckos are just cute little lizards? Think again! 😍
🌙 Night owls: Crested geckos are most active after dark, when they come out to explore and hunt.
👀 No eyelids: They don’t have eyelids! Instead, they use their tongues to keep their eyes clean. 👅👁️
🦶 Sticky toes: Their feet are covered in tiny structures called setae, helping them climb smooth surfaces with ease.
🌳 Master climbers: In the wild, crested geckos spend much of their time climbing through trees and vegetation.
🦎 They can drop their tails: If threatened, a crested gecko can lose its tail. Unlike some other lizards, though, it won’t grow back!
👑 That “crest” has a purpose: Those adorable fringes above their eyes and along their head and back give them their distinctive look.
