Important notice to dog owners:

Staffy's and pitbulls will be culled under the xl bully ban if owner does not lie about thier breed and identify it as a xlbully to get exemption.

The ISPCA sent the below image to Heather Humphries claiming it was an xl bully. The ISPCA is supposedly the lead in all animal welfare issues.

The image beside the ISPCA's image is a professional image of a staffy (staffordshire Bull Terrier).
Please share with all staffy owners and groups to make them aware.

Suzi Walsh, the lead K9 behaviourist in Ireland with a degree from Trinity in zoology, a masters degree in K9 behaviour, 100s of training courses under her belt, almost 2 decades of experience, campaigned for changes to Ashton Pound in 2009 and was part of the 2021 campaign for councils to tender the pound services to a better facility, has told me in her expert opinion the images of dogs supplied by the ISPCA to the government are NOT XL Bullys.

asked Humphries in the Dail on October 22nd about the appeals process for dogs that are incorrectly confiscated by dog wardens. Paul is currently running for TD in Dublin South. Cllr Ruth Coppinger, the TD responsible for banning fur farming in Ireland has also raised concerns. Ruth will be running for TD in Dublins North West.

I (Samantha Dooley from Party4Animals Waterford representative) has been in contact directly with Humphries office with these images asking for the errors to be fixed immediately and an appeals process put in place prior to the election and Heather retiring.

Unfortunately there is no movement from Humphries office to acknowledge anyones concerns.

Humphries advised that after Feb 1st dog wardens will be able to go to your home and take your dog and euthanise under the ban. There is no appeals process, as there is in the UK when a dog is confiscated to be a suspected banned breed.
