Summer 2025 was the summer we:
1. Rescued and rehomed 15 dogs;
2. Opened our custom designed big dog facility and told the dogs they could run off lead over 30 acres(!);
3. Added more experienced nurses to our staff group;
4. Spent the summer holidays with the regulars we so adore, as well as a lot of new adorable faces; and
5. Caught 1 million doggy smiles on camera.

Thank you all for your support this summer (and to those who have seen a fourth summer with us). You and your amazing doggos mean the world to us ❤️

Jimmy has deteriorated overnight and is now nearly paralysed in both hind legs. My heart really breaks for him because this was meant to be his fresh start.

He is on pain relief and crate rest and we will hope to see an improvement. Some of the reflexes in his hind limbs are still present, so we will hope and pray he doesn’t need spinal surgery but I have to admit, I’m fearful of the worst.

In the meantime, we need to make provisions for the worst case scenario. If you need your dog washed by our groomer, in return for a donation to his cause or if you are in the position to spare five euro, please donate via the link in our bio.

Come on Jimmy. We’re rooting for you and we love you.

🤍APPEAL FOR MILES🤍

If there are any experienced dog trainers out there who would be willing to donate some sessions to Miles, I would be so grateful.

Miles is such a loyal, clever, affectionate friend to me and I know he could be that for someone else too, but as it stands, I would need to take four Xanax before arranging a meet for him 🥲. Miles is extremely reactive to strangers, on lead and off lead and at the moment is a bite risk. I am very experienced with dogs so I am looking for someone who really knows their onions (and doesn’t mind losing a finger - joking (kind of)).

But all jokes aside, he’s a wonderful dog, I just need a game plan and a little help to get Miles into the home he so deserves 🥲.

Welcome to the VetSit family Jimmy.

Jimmy is our latest rescue from and he is absolutely petrified. He won’t eat, or drink. He can’t walk on a lead. He tries to bite us when we take him out to snuggle but I am OBSESSED.

I can’t wait to see him come out of his shell but for now, it’s lying on my stomach trying to fish him out of the back of his crate and hand feeding him chicken 🥲. Onto the next chapter Jimmy.
