Hello Wild Ones,

Welcome to Herbs of Éire.

You may have noticed a change of name recently and I wanted to share the reason behind this.
This still remains a space where I share the beauty of the land and herbal creations we weave. Not much has changed, just the name. But this change in name felt necessary.

As I have been gathering berries from all the trees on the land around me, the name Herbs of Éire kept returning to me.

Each herb I gather is to be shared with you through my words, creations, workshop gatherings or through herbal remedies being crafted.

As I have been moving around the land, this is really the first time I have chosen to truly see how generous the land is.

Each plant I gather truly feels like a gift from the soil, from the soil of Éire, a direct physical tangible gift from our ancestors.

For so long I have not been aware of her abundance. I have forgotten her beauty.

Herbs of Éire feels like I am returning Home. I am slowly remembering my roots.

Allow me to share her gifts with you as I weave with her wise, kind, ferociously loving generosity.

Here are some ways to help your animal if they hate the sound of fireworks.

Frankincense is very grounding and helps distance their mind from fear of loud noises.

If you don’t have Frankincense, you can try some of the other oils I mention here.

For cats, if you lay out some of these plants mentioned on a towel in dried herb form, they did it very soothing and calming.

With Love, I welcome you to join me in making herbal remedies and medicine in South Dublin next Saturday.

We will make herbal remedies from seasonal and wild foraged medicinal plants.

We will make self-nourishing herbal remedies including facial serums, facial toners and herbal body oils. (Herbal body oiling is one of my favourite way to reset and calm my nervous system).

We will also learn about healing and warming herbs and remedies to support us over the cooler months. Now is the perfect time to start building our herbal medicine cabinet for winter imbalances.

Many of the herbs used will be wild medicinal plants that we can find growing throughout Ireland.

I want to share with you the magical women who will be guiding us through beautiful healing journeys, giving us the space to integrate the plant wisdom and whispers.

•9th September: We will be guided through a deeply restorative and grounding practice by Yoga teacher, Herbalist, Aromatherapist, Body worker

•23rd September: Meditation Teacher, Advanced Sound Therapy Practitioner, Reiki Master, Cacao Ceremony Facilitator and EFT Practitioner will be nourishing us with Sound and Energy Healing.

•7th October: Mother of 4 dogs, dancer, Pilates and yoga teacher, reiki master, lomi lomi massage practitioner will be guiding us through intuitive movement, facilitating a deeper trust within our bodies and reminding us of our body's own ability to heal herself.

•21st October: Animal Healer and Communicator will be guiding us through a deep meditation to connect in and integrate all the beautiful wisdom, teachings and connection formed with our animals and plants. I can’t wait!!

I am so excited to share my new offering with you!!

Herbal Medicine Weaving - Online workshops and gatherings throughout September and October.

What is included in Herbal Medicine Weaving?

- We will gather live online every other Friday morning 10-11:30am in September and October. Lifetime access to the replays are included.

- We will create herbal medicine and remedies for us and our animals with herbs growing in the wild now, re-establishing our connection with the seasons, plants and our bodies.

- Before we gather, I will send out a list of simple kitchen items you may need to create our remedies. You will also receive information on what plants to look out for and gather prior to our plant medicine and remedy making mornings.

- We gather every two weeks to allow time, wisdom and remembrance from the plants to fully land in our experience. This also gives us time to connect in and create more medicine and remedies with what we explored in our gathering. Often plants reveal themselves further after we make our initial introduction!

- We will re-connect with ancient rituals and practices to amplify the potency of our herbal medicine and remedies.

- To integrate the wisdom and healing of the plant medicine, we will receive deep healing and energy medicine from medicine women after crafting our herbal remedies and medicine. She will share her specific form of medicine with us and our animals. These forms of healing medicine will include sound healing, sacred transmissions, meditations and intuitive mindful movement.

Why do some dogs eat poo?! 💩😋😨

✨The Yarrow we gathered is being infused.✨

These infusions and tinctures will be ready in 6 weeks.

The tincture will be taken and offered to animals in water when needed.

The oil infusion will be used to make a super healing and protecting ointment with local beeswax.

I’m feeling Rose may be added in with this yarrow ointment, but we will see what plants show up and call to be gathered when the ointment is being made…
