We are so excited to announce our new family fun dog walk event. We’ve kept it simple and so easy to remember ‘Walk The Dog” 🐾🐾🐾

Join us on Saturday the 13th of September 2025 for a beautiful dog walk along the Dublin Mountains Way, Glencullen.

This family event is suitable for everyone so come along and join in on the fun and celebrate the joy of walking your dog on lead while supporting the life saving work of the DSPCA.

No foster applications yet for our collie boy Seamus. Here he is dozing last night after a long walk with 2 other collies. Seamus is looking for a foster home with another dog. A secure garden is a must. Seamus can live with cats. He is fully housetrained. He is a fab boy. Can suffer the odd bout of anxiety which we will explain. 🥰 Bella & Lucy 🥰
Nap time😴!! Bella and Lucy are two gorgeous young Springer girls, who were found frightened and straying a few weeks ago. They are very closely bonded, so we're looking for someone who can adopt them as a pair. Bella is around 1-year old and Lucy is only about 4-months old.

These sweet dogs are very friendly, have good recall, and are now fully house-trained. Because they absolutely adore exploring, we're looking for a forever home with a large, well-enclosed garden. If you think Bella and Lucy would be a great addition to your family, please send us a message. We're looking for a home in Ireland for these girls, please 🙏😃

Myles is waiting so long for a home.
Can we try once more?
We even did a very honest video in comments. Wait until you see him when you scratch his bum 😁

Myles is 2 yrs old. Fantastic on the lead but can be strong for the first few mins. If he is left out in the garden before his walk he is much more relaxed on his walks.
He is trained to a canny collar as well.
He would be happy to be an only dog or he would live with a female his own size.
Myles will walk in the company of a large pack of dogs with no issue. He just does not like a dominant male.
He was housetrained in his last home so it will be very easy to get him back to living inside your home.
We are looking for an adult home and one with large breed experience.

Meet Karen 💛

Karen has not yet had an application, really sad when knowing shes such an amazing girl. At a guess, we would say shes between 3 and 4 .
Karen spent a long time waiting in the pound, but now that she’s in rescue, we’ve had the joy of getting to know the real Karen — and she’s absolutely beautiful, inside and out.

In the house, she’s a dream. She’s calm, respectful, and gentle. No chewing, no destruction — just a lovely companion who’s happy to quietly share your space. She’s comfortable being left alone and doesn’t stress or make a fuss. Honestly, she’s a lot like having a Labrador around — affectionate, steady, and loyal.

Outside, Karen enjoys doing her own thing. She loves a good sniff and walks beautifully on the lead. While we haven’t fully tested her with other dogs yet, she passes them calmly and politely on walks.

Karen is a deeply loyal girl who’s ready to bond with someone special. She doesn’t ask for much — just a safe home and someone who’ll love her as much as she’ll love them.
