Well done to Elsa & Éabha who took part in the Laois Pony Club minimus competition in Stradbally on May 24th.
Elsa came 27th out of 69. She is going to the National Championships in Limerick later this month.
Éabha had a great swim & flew around the running track & some great riding.
Well done to the girls for taking part. Minimus is a wonderful event producing some super athletes.

KHPC MINIMUS & FLEDGLING COMPETITION 2026
What a day we had with a huge turn out from our Louth Pony Club. Such a fun event for all the children to take part in.
It was the first competition for most of the children. A great experience had by all & everyone is looking forward to doing more.
Huge thanks goes to Margaret who took on with coaching the kids again this year, as well as Aura Dundalk Leisure Centre & the many PC coaches.
Well done to the parents for their commitment too. We would highly recommend you give it a go.

So chuffed and proud of all the kids that took part in the Area 7 qualifier today.
Huge congratulations to the Alice Mernagh and Robbie Bailey teams for qualifying for Barnadown.
Roisin Duffy took part in an Area 7 team for the John Ledingham and they came 2nd and also qualified for Barnadown.
Well done to Conor Seaver who won the Novice Combined Training.
Well done to Isobel Mark's Raleigh who came 3rd in the Novice Combined training and Leah Devine who went to her 1st show today on her own young pony and came 3rd!!! A great achievement.
Well done to Izzie Kiernan, Aibhilin Kelly, Cahila Duffy, Ellie Mae Sullivan and Isabelle Nugent who also took part.
If I have forgotten anyone let me know!!! Head like a sieve!
Also a huge thanks to Nicola and Tara for all the great training the kids have received. Thank you to the parents who all offered to help today!
