Please be aware of this folks!

With the dark nights and mornings it's fair to say that autumn has arrived! It's during this time of the year that we find conkers lying around that our dogs quickly sniff out

Although our pooches can think they're great toys or treats, conkers are toxic for dogs and can cause serious health issues. Symptoms of toxicity to look out for are: vomiting, diarrhoea, reduced appetite & abdominal pain. Conkers can also cause intestinal blockages if ingested whole

Please be careful & vigilant when out with your dogs and if you have any concerns then call the clinic on 028 37526 777
