The Irish School of Horsemanship at Lee Valley Equestrian Centre is holding an AIRE Foundation B Stable management course. This course is ideal for anyone who has a small bit of knowledge about horse care, but wants the opportunity to learn more about grooming, feeding, handling and care of horses. This is an entry level course that builds on the foundation A course. suitable for children from ages 7 on up, regardless as to whether they ride or not.
The course is on Saturdays from 10am to 11:30 over 6 weeks, starting September 19. There will be a final test on October 24.

Camp dates:

July 6-9 Summer Fun pony camp (ages 8-16)
July 20-23 Teen Pony Camp(13-18, must have some horse experience)
August 10-13 Summer Fun Pony camp (8-16)
Horsemanship camp August 17-20

Don't forget this is this Sunday! The lecture is at 1:30. Adults €10, kid's €5. There is one spot left to have a horse fitted.

Also Lauren is closing her shop since she is retiring. She has saddles, girths, stirrups, leathers etc for sale. If anyone is looking for anything you can let me know, and she can bring stuff down.

This is a great course for kids who haven't been around horses much, but also kids who have been riding, but haven't had the chance to learn the basics of grooming and care. This is a stable management class, there is no riding at all. It's all about caring for the horses:)

We will be offering the AIRE foundation B and C as well in stable management to anyone who has already earned their A at any riding school.
