Hi Eric,

I've been to the beach, Costa del West Cork! They tell me Irish weather is always this tropical, a well kept secret apparently.

I had great help learning to surf as you can see from the pictures. A few wipeouts but then I caught a few breakers! 'Twas only Gnarly, off the hook as they say.

Sorry it's taken me so long to write; I've been very distracted! I've met some very lovely ladies. I thought I was in there with the strawberry blonde one - but she said I was just too short! Apparently she's jilted me for someone slightly taller!

Hey Eric,

Long time no hear! I've been really busy...I've been making up for all that time standing about the garden.

I started with hurling - and no, it's not what you think, I wasn't ill or anything. Apparently being Dutch, I would know about as much about hurling as your do - being Dublinish.

They even gave me a hurley and a Clare jersey - now they know how to hurl. Sure give 15 lads from Clare a hurley and it'd be a brave Gnome that got in their way!

I went in gaol - saved one - let another one part - not bad for a man of our stature!
