Dog training: 1-on-1 sessions in your own home as well as group classes. I have done a number of Dog behaviour courses both online and practical, and I have experience working with a wide variety of dog breeds and behaviour issues, as well as basic manners-training. Dog walking service for Cork city, Bishopstown, Ballincollig etc. All breeds and sizes catered for. Group and Solo walks available. P

et Sketches: Do you have a photograph of your pet that you’d love to turn into a unique piece of art? I mostly work in pencil, pen and ink and charcoal but other mediums are possible as well. I (Heather Watson) graduated with a First Class Honours BSc in Zoology. I have volunteered in the kennels of the Irish Guide Dog for the Blind and regularly dog walk and train for Munster Lost and Found, as well as assisting with puppy and adult obedience classes with Creedon's Doggie Daycare, Togher. Want to have fun with your dog and learn some great skills as well? Our group classes are a friendly place to try out activities like agility and scent work and also to help build the bond between you. Location: Carrigrohane Time: Tuesday and Friday mornings. Lovely mild evening for our Fun and Games class. Agility, scent games and fun tricks were enjoyed by all. We tried to get them all posing with "Two paws up" but couldn't quite manage to synchronise!

It's always important to minimise the amount of repetitive drilling in training for the sake pf the dog's enjoyment but also to prevent joint strain...this is especially true in hot weather to prevent over heating. So this morning we did a few jump activities and then retreated to the shade for some low key scent games and body awareness tricks.

Relaxing in the shade is definitely important today!
