Neglected, elderly Nell is searching for a peaceful home where she’ll finally be cherished... Please share so we can find someone special for this gentle old girl🙏🏡

Our hearts absolutely broke when we picked up this elderly stray Springer Spaniel earlier this week💔 Nell was horrifically malnourished and neglected... Her coat was so severely matted that it was almost impossible to tell where her skin ended and the matting began. Because she is so painfully thin, her loose skin was hanging from her tiny frame, making the grooming process even more difficult.

It took two people over FOUR HOURS to gently and carefully groom her. The whole time, sweet Nell just stood there wagging her tail, looking up at us with the softest little smile🥹💔

Nell has no teeth left and is completely deaf, but she has the most irresistible toothless grin. She quietly follows her human around without any fuss and is truly one of the sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet.

We honestly cannot understand how anyone could allow an animal to suffer like this. Nell is around 14 years old, and after all she has endured, she urgently deserves a calm, loving, comfortable home where she will be cherished for the rest of her days🙏💕 We are looking for a peaceful home without young children for this precious old soul.
