Hi my name is Jennifer Buckley.Myself and my sister Lynn both qualified from St Johns College with distinctions in Animal grooming.I have also have spent a year doing work experience in a busy well established Grooming parlour working alongside a highly skilled Dog groomer who also teaches grooming.We both have many years experience with animals and have many of our own pets including Dogs ,Cats,

and a rabbit.I worked for 12 years and managed The Village Pet shop in Douglas until October last year.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas and new year. Its been another busy year especially the last few weeks and we are very grateful. Thank you to everyone who left tips , cards and gifts.
We will closing for Christmas and new years and reopening again January 5th.

I'll be taking a break from September 29th to October 10th. For anyone needing a groom before then please get in touch to book.

I hate mentioning the "C" word in September but we are taking our Christmas bookings from this point onwards also.
As usual the week in the run up to Christmas will be for our dogs on a regular schedule that have been groomed in Sept/Oct/Nov and need a Christmas groom or wash and blow dry.
For dogs that aren't on a regular schedule or Need more one on one or are matted we will have appointments available the first week of December possibly into the second. Please do book in advance.

We do ask for anyone who has booked an appointment if you cannot attend please do let us know in advance so we can reallocate the appointment.

My gorgeous boy Oliver is 16 today.
I ordered his birthday biscuits from the paw print bakery in Carrigaline. For anyone who likes to support local small businesses and has a four legged friend who has a birthday coming up I highly recommend you check her out. She does an array of dog treats and cakes for special occasions .

When I'm not at the grooming room you'll catch me in some county in Ireland at a dog show with a brush and coat Conditioner in hand still 🤣
This past weekend it was the Munster agricultural society's triple shows in Cork.
Where my gorgeous Gloria gained her 6th and 7th Green star making her an Irish Champion just before her second birthday.
Her 4 month old brother Bennington made his showing debut and won Best Baby puppy in breed in all three shows. Hopefully he'll follow in his sisters footsteps.
