Hi, my name is Lauren O’Mahoney and I am the owner and Therapeutic Riding Coach of Over The Reinbow Therapeutic Riding and Equine Assisted Activities. Firstly, I want to give a bit of background to why I decided to undertake this adventure mainly on my own but with the massive support from close family and friends also. Since I was young, I always had a passion for horses and horse riding, starting in a local riding school when I was 9 to owning my first horse and pony and enjoying participating in local shows and pony club activities. In my early 20’s, I was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD and found that to be my true authentic self I had to follow my passion for horses, the great outdoors and helping others struggling to become their true authentic self also. This is where the idea of combining both my love for horses and coaching other neurodiverse individuals became a reality through becoming a Therapeutic Riding Coach.
