One of our first cases last week was Smokey, who came home dragging a leg that can only be described as smashed! It amazing how cats manage to get home after some major trauma. With bones as damaged as this the approach is not to put everything carefully back together, it’s more important to preserve the biology in there. Line it up at the correct angles with enough stability and it will all knit back together. He looks pretty happy with his new leg.
