I don’t normally do this, but today we wanted to show our faces and speak from the heart.
To everyone who trusted us with their cats in 2025… and those already booked in for 2026 — thank you, truly. We still can’t quite believe we’re taking bookings almost a year in advance. What started as a small dream has grown into something so much bigger, and we’re endlessly grateful.
Through this little business we’ve met the most wonderful people Cork has to offer. Getting to know you, your families, and welcoming your beautiful cats into our care has been such a privilege.
Building our dream cattery has taken everything we had. For the past two years we’ve worked seven days a week, often at the cost of time with friends and family. Special occasions were cut short, invitations declined, and quiet moments sacrificed so we could give your cats the level of care they deserve. I booked in my wonderful doctor’s cat while still in the delivery room after welcoming our first daughter into the world, and Mark was replying to bookings from a hallway in CUMH while we waited for our second to arrive. Add Mark’s coaching business into the mix, and life has been beautifully, overwhelmingly busy.
So this January, we’re closing our doors for the month. We’re taking a breath, counting our blessings, and carrying out some much-needed maintenance to keep our rooms perfect for the gorgeous guests who stay with us. Our emails, DMs, and booking system will remain open, so please do get in touch if you’re looking for accommodation for your cat from February onwards.
