Happy New year to you all and I hope you had a lovely Christmas/New year break. 🎉🐕♥️ With New year, comes new chapters and as 2023 rolls in my chapter with Darbys Dog grooming 🐾comes to a close.🥺
When I started out over 2yr ago it was a part time venture /hobby at weekends alongside my full time job. With only a few dogs that kept me tipping over, I really enjoyed it. As time has passed, my client based has grown so much and I'm so grateful that you entrusted your 4 and 3 legged family member to me to make them look and feel good.
However the cost working a full time job, a family and now what's become another full time job at weekends has taken its toll and I can't keep up. It's become too much. My mind is willing but my body isn't anymore.
I wish it wasnt to be a case that I can't fit you in for weeks when you call to book in or the quality of the groom could suffers because it's become to much. Your dog deserves more then that and you as a paying customer deserves more then that.
I hope you understand it's not a decision I've come to lightly. 🥺 I've bonded with so much with my dogs/clients and I'm gutted as I type this message for the umpteenth time but for now it's what needs to be done. Please know you are all my favourites and I wish you the best in future, Kirby 🐾💕🐕
