Barking Mad was purchased in 2016 by Hailey Moore, an IPDGA registered member and Advanced International Certified Groomer based in Cobh. Hailey is also a Canine First Responder and life member of the Irish Kennel Club.

Hi everyone! Just an update or should I say Pupdate!!
I do have a confirmed pregnant Neasa taking most of my attention at the moment so due to a rough due date of 9th July I will be expecting to be off from when the pups are born for two weeks, that leads into our set summer holidays that start on July 25th, during the two weeks of holidays there will be no bookings, I will be back on the phone from Monday 10th August.

Aishling and Rosie will be running things while I am out before the holidays, so bookings can continue until the 25th but there will be fewer spaces available.
Hope everyone understands and know I would not leave the shop with anyone I don’t trust 100%. The girls have years of experience and know my standards so ye will be in good hands!

I will keep everyone updated on the availability as we go along, this week is fully booked and with 4 weeks until the shop closes for holidays please take that into account when planning for your grooms!

Hi everyone! Hailey here going to let everyone know the plans for our summer break! Usually we take a week off here and there in the summer, this year is a bit different!

From 25th July to the 9th August the salon will be closed for two weeks holidays!

It is likely due to litter plans I will be off for another couple of weeks before this with the salon still operating with Aishling and Rosie, but I’ll update on that if the pups are expected.

Just so everyone is on the same page and can plan ahead if they need to! 😊💕🐶

Unfortunately due to how busy things are getting and with this big break coming up I have decided to close the books to new customers again as we will not be able to keep up if we take on any more at the moment. Apologies for the inconvenience if there was anyone hoping to get their dog groomed with us.

The beautiful Nala was in for her first handstrip and was a star! We got as much done as possible without overwhelming her on her first day at the salon, so there’s still a bit to go to finish her strip entirely but I was delighted with how she came out! It’s nice to see the coat develop as they grow from puppy to adult!
