Equestrian Tai Chi & Tao Riding

Equestrian Tai Chi & Tao Riding Online Equestrian Tai Chi Training for Equestrians, Riding Instructors and Therapeutic Riding Instruc She has been teaching since 2002. Jenny Pim was born in Co.

Jenny Pim is a Certified Tai Chi Instructor, registered with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain. She's a Certified Riding Coach, registered with Horse Sport Ireland. She's been involved with horses all her life, owning and breeding many wonderful Connemara ponies. She started practicing Tai Chi on her own ponies and noticed how much they enjoyed it and how it seemed to calm some of the more nervo

us ponies. They showed many of the typical signs that they were happy and content, such as softening their eyes, lowering their heads and resting a hind leg. Jenny also noticed how it helped her feel more settled and more connected to everything, particularly Nature. She bonded more with the ponies and they seemed calmer and happier in their daily lives. The ponies seemed to enjoy connecting on an energetic level. Realising the benefits of practicing Equestrian Tai Chi (as she called it), to both herself and her ponies, and to her connection with them, she developed a programme for teaching people Equestrian Tai Chi, who had no previous knowledge of Tai Chi. Wexford, Ireland. She attended Newtown School in Waterford, a boarding school run by The Society of Friends, before going on to study Irish language and Greek and Roman Classical Civilization in Trinity College Dublin. She then went on to study Archival Science in University College Dublin. She worked on the private papers of Lord Killanin, President of The International Olympic Committee, before moving to London, where she worked for a short while in the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. She then went to work for Christie's the Art Auctioneers in King Street, London. It was while she was at Christie's in the middle of the Art boom in the late eighties and early nineties, that she became interested in the Far East and its culture. This led to her learning Tai Chi and later becoming an instructor.

A few weeks ago, Tracey Cole invited me onto her podcast Over the Oxer. I was delighted, as although we'd followed each other for years on social media, we'd never actually met!
When we did, we just hit it off straight away and had such a good time.
Tracey is a wonderful person, so welcoming and warm and funny too. She helps many people with a fear of horse riding with NLP and with Hypnotherapy.

Chi or Life-Force energy is the energy that animates us and connects us to all living beings.

Chi or life-force energy exists and moves in all the creatures of the world and it can holistically connect everything.

Balancing our life-force energy not only makes us feel more balanced and whole inside, it can also make our relationships with others smoother.

Horses are very sensitive to energy, more so even than we are.

Horses are herd animals and they love to connect, it's in their nature.

Balancing our life-force energy makes our energy very easy for the horse to be near and attractive to the horse, it draws the horse naturally to want to be with us.

We can learn chi practices that will balance ours and horses life-force energy together, that will help us both together.

Where we can bond and connect and each benefit the other.

'Balancing Life-Fore Energy in the Company of Horses' is a comprehensive program for people who help people with horses and would like to offer holistic chi practices that help the horse as well as the human.

Interactive Equine Tai Chi is a Program for people who help people in the company of horses.

Interactive Equine Tai Chi has many elements that contribute to its benefits.

It combines the positive effects of the therapeutic energy and presence of the horse with the benefits of Tai Chi.

More than this, the practice has a balancing, calming effect on the adult or child and on the pony and allows their energies to mingle and merge.

It is a mutual practice. The adult or child's practice benefits the pony, and in turn the adult or child receives the magnified effects of the balanced, relaxed energy of the horse.

As well as this, as the horse responds and visibly relaxes to the practice, the adult or child can see the results of his/her actions. This may lead to a realization of how we all affect each other and how powerful we all are.

Interactive Equine Tai Chi is a practice that can be enjoyed by many people. I developed Interactive Equine Tai Chi with my student Zion who has Autism.

Registration is opening for the Interactive Equine Tai Chi Program soon.

Please click below if you'd like to be added to the waitlist to be sent the information about the program when registration opens.

Horses have every similar energy systems to ours, but their awareness of energy is much greater.
It is only when we develop our energy and become able to feel it ourselves, that we realise our horse can feel it in us.
Then our energy becomes a bridge of connection between us.
We can learn the alignments that allow our energy to flow in our bodies, and to unite with the energy of our horse.
We can learn to communicate and connect with our horse through energy and to unblock it in our bodies, to allow more freedom for ourselves and our horse and our partnership together.

For thousands of years Taoists have known about balancing our life force energy to bring greater health and harmony to our bodies minds and emotions, reducing tension and anxiety.
Its ideas are based on the natural world and the way it works.
Everywhere in nature there is a dynamic interchange.
Through the seasons we go from winter yin, to yang in the spring and summer and then back to yin again in the autumn and winter. The seed grows into a plant and then back to the earth again.
Theories of these five phases of energy came about from observing the dynamic processes and characteristics in the natural world and is articulated in the system of the five elements, water wood fire earth and metal, metaphors for these five phases of energy.
Each element has a way of corresponding externally to the natural world and internally to the body and emotions.
The different elements interrelate and support each other helping us to feel more at ease inside ourselves and in relation to the world outside us as well.
Horses are from nature, and our connection with them forms a bridge for us to connect to nature and balance our life force energy and our horse's life force energy and the energy of the different elements inside us both, bringing greater peace, harmony and a feeling of connection to all things to us both.
'Balancing our Life Force Energy in the Company of Horses and Nature'.
