✅ Spring Inspections 2025 Complete

The CPBS has concluded the Spring phase of the 2025 inspections. With 560 ponies presented over 13 days at 9 venues, this was one of the strongest and most supported inspection phases in recent years.

🔹 Key Figures:
• 509 ponies awarded Class 1, Class 2 or OH
• 67 ponies passed under the amnesty (ends after Autumn 2025)
• C**t Averages: 145cm, 8” bone
• Filly Averages: 145cm, 7.8” bone
• Oldest pony inspected: 19-year-old mare

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend, valued member, and dedicated breeder within the Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society, Kevin Murray.

Kevin was truly one of life’s remarkable individuals—kind, warm-hearted, and full of character. His deep love for the Connemara Pony, along with his presence, good humour, and friendship, will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

We extend our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to his beloved family during this difficult time.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

May he rest in peace.
