Unfortunately dogs on the restricted breed list are unable to take part in the show.

This is Lucy a 2 year old cockapoo. She is vaccinated, chipped, neurtered and has a lifetime dog licence. She is looking for a new couch to lie on. Preferably a home with no small children.

DOG SHOW 2023:

The Carrickmacross Street Festival Dog Show is on Sunday 4th June (@ 12 noon). This event is always very popular so please share this post.

Our thanks to Laura Whyte (Waggin Tails) who will oversee the competition again this year (with support of JD's Pets).

All dogs need to be accompanied by at least one adult and need to be on a lead. Your dog will be your responsibility so please be respectful to other dogs and their owners.

Due to insurance restrictions, however, we are unable to accept any of the following breeds (The Control of Dogs Regulation 1998):

American pit bull terrier
English bull terrier
Staffordshire bull terrier
Bull mastiff
Dobermann pinscher
German shepherd (Alsatian)
Rhodesian ridgeback
Rottweiler
Japanese akita
Japanese tosa
Bandog

Apologies to those of you with one of these breeds who wanted to enter but our hands are, unfortunately, tied.
