‼️UPDATE @ 17:30, 7th February.

Police have recovered the body of a female in the Princess Street area of lurgan.

Caitlin’s family have been made aware.

Officers searching for missing person Caitlin Green are asking the public to assist by checking any privately-owned sheds or outbuildings in the area near to where she was last seen.

The 24-year-old, who also goes by Caity, hasn’t been seen since she left a friend’s home in the area of Derry Street/Lord Lurgan Park, Lurgan at around 12.30 on the afternoon of Saturday 31 January.

Extensive police searches are being carried out and our detectives are also reviewing all available CCTV and following all investigative leads and tips to determine Caitlin’s whereabouts. However, we are asking that local people, and particularly residents in the following areas, please check any outbuildings, sheds or garages on their private property and report anything they find to us:

Derry Street
Victoria Street
Princess Street
Derry Lodge Manor
Derry Park Lane
Glenravel Drive
Brett Avenue/Drive
Allenhill Park
Woodville Street

When last seen Caitlin was wearing black leggings and a grey Regatta jacket.

Anyone who believes they may have spotted Caitlin, who knows where she is, or Caitlin herself, is asked to please get in touch with local police. We want to know she is safe and give peace of mind to family and loved ones who are missing her.
