Alot of videos you can see out on the socials is of huge barns with mass breeding programmes . Very fancy sheds full of yearlings , 2 year olds and 3 year olds etc . All mass produced .

Its lovely and it makes us all feel this is the aim but actually the sad reality is we only see a tiny amount of those horses who make it to the top and all their success at higher levels. But what about the bunch say 90% who dont .

So here is our little bunch . I have the ability to mass produce but in doing so I dont feel I would personally rear them in the same way AND im not convinced i can give them the best start of their lifes. With lots of freedom , friends and lots of forage. They have fields to roam. Streams to splash and a warm bed and lots and lots of hay .

I know them all . Either I picked their sires and helped them come into the world . Staying up hours when they were sick , treating their injuries or the weird things they do to themselves but what I love most of all is spending time with them in the evenings . Giving them rubs , chatting to them etc . They see us as friends and I honestly believe when people buy them they have a horse they will enjoy for competition careers or leisure .

I hope following my heart and beliefs will continue to prove that smaller and being able to interact with them proves they can stand up with the big boys in the ring , or that they keep an owner safe and loving being around horses .

Thank you to everyone who still messages me to see what I have available and puts their trust in me when you are bringing in clients and you contact me to see what we quietly have and respecting me when I might have the horse but they need more time and then coming back to me in a few months or a years time to see how that same horse is doing .

This group are some of the most incredible people I am lucky to have met as clients and customers but people I now call my close friends

They are there with me through thick and thin , we help and fix each other's crowns whe they are crooked . They have wiped my tears and shared tears with each othet through , frustrations , joy and unfortunately loss of some of their 4 legged best friends .

I look forward to seeing them walk through the barn doors and I know without any doubt they would stand beside me and always put their horses interests and needs before their own wants

What a super group and an incredible team all here in Via Equine.

We started as most do out on a pony and the story went from there . We built the business with the intention to help promote, educate and assist in the performance and rehabilitation of both Equine and Canine species .

Performance issues are relentless. We ask monumental tasks of these species but often forget we are dealing with an athlete or participant on a smaller level that still requires maintenance of the muscles , joints ligaments etc .

The beauty of the work we do is that we allow the optimal recovery of the animal post injury , post surgery , post and pre event etc . We work with Veterinarians with patients pre and post opp, develop sustainable rehabilitation programmes and assess performance issues.

It is vital to us that we provide an overall service to our customers , therefore we have developed excellent partnerships to act as suppliers with the best products to support the animals and give you the owner the best possible experience and enjoyment .
