Hi everyone,

Unfortunately I have some difficult news to share. Due to the extremely heavy rain we’ve had recently, there has been significant damage to the grooming room at my mum’s house where I work from. We only discovered the extent of it today, and sadly the space is currently not safe or suitable for me to groom in.

Because of this, I will need to cancel and postpone all upcoming grooming appointments for the moment while the damage is repaired. I’m truly so sorry for the inconvenience this causes, especially for those of you who have been waiting patiently for appointments.

If your dog is due a groom in the meantime, I would recommend reaching out to your usual or previous groomer so they can be looked after while I get everything sorted here.

We’re hoping the repairs will be completed within the next few weeks, and I will keep everyone updated and let you know as soon as I’m able to reopen.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support — it really means a lot.

Hi everyone 😊
Just a little update to say I’ll be returning to dog grooming on Wednesday 1st April after my maternity leave.

For the first couple of weeks I’ll be easing back in and working reduced hours. I’ll only be grooming on Wednesday 1st April and Tuesday 7th April , 9am-2pm.

From the week of 13th April, my regular hours will be Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9am–2pm.

I’m now taking bookings, so if you’d like to book your dog in just send me a text on 086 255 9785.

Please note that drop-off and collection times will need to be strictly followed.

I can’t wait to see all your doggies again — I’ve missed them! 🐶✂️

Thank you to all my customers for the kind words and generous gifts. I will miss you all and I know you’ll be in good hands with the other groomers while I’m off. I’ll be back next year and will be in touch when I plan my return.

🌞SUNNY & WARM WEATHER WITH DOGS 🌞

Please be extra careful with your dogs during this hot weather we are currently having. While it may not feel hot to us, dogs sweat and deal with heat a lot differently to us.

Be aware of the signs of heat stroke and contact your vet right away if you suspect your dog is struggling or may have heat stroke.

Best time to walk them is early mornings or later in the evenings when it’s cooled down.

Ensure you’ve got plenty of water out for them and plenty of shade. Avoid walking particularly elderly or overweight dogs in this heat.

Signs of heatstroke in dogs include:
Excessive panting.
Reddened gums/mucous membranes.
Tachycardia (fast heart rate)
Dehydration.
Elevated temperature
Vomiting (with or without blood)
Diarrhea (with or without blood)
Disorientation/stumbling.
