The Ballyshannon Agricultural Show has a long history of providing competition and entertainment for the community and still continues to the present day. The show was a very important social occasion and which ranked only second to the Harvest Fair in its importance to the farming and townsfolk alike. The competitions in the cattle, sheep horses and agricultural classes helped to improve standard

s of production and great pride was also evident in the winners of home baking, craft and flower competitions. A show dance was and still is the highlight of Agricultural Show which is held on the night of the Show. Ballyshannon Agricultural Show is affiliated to the Irish Shows Association and Irish Pony Society

On behalf of the committee of the Ballyshannon Agricultural Show we would like to thank everyone for coming to the show on Sunday 17th August, the Exhibitors for showing their Animals, Baking and Crafts at the also the sponsors for their continued support and special thank has to go out to everyone who volunteers and gives up their free time to help set up the show, show day and the clean up in day's after. We look forward to seeing you all again next year on the Sunday 16th August 2026

Sunday 17th August
A day of fun for all young & Old from 11am until 5pm. Watch Ponies, Cattle and Sheep being judged, visit the Marquee and enjoy an afternoon programme of thrills, Funfair and Trade Stands.
