That's a wrap, 3 days of mantrailing workshop has come and gone.
We learnt so much, had fun, met lovely new people and amazing dogs. Huge thanks to all we trailed alongside and Glenard Dogs for organising this workshop with Anna Pleban from Follow Dogs

Today was probably the hottest day of the year (so far), it is not an easy task for any dog to work the trails in this heat🌞
I am super proud of Tucker❤️ his work ethic💪 and commitment🤓 to finding the 'missing person'

We had four committed teams on our progression session mantrailing today, all gave their best efforts in today's beautiful🌞
Again, we worked a wide age group, from 1.5 years to 13 years old pet dogs, all enjoying working their nose:

- improve motivation to search
- car seat start - simulating real life search efforts
- no trail indication exercise
- ignoring distractions

Keeping Lilly's nose busy, mental stimulation is now even more important to help her through recovery and gradually start building those muscles back💪 in every activity we do, even through scent work🐶while Tucker is out with his friend on a long walk🐕‍🦺

On today's introduction session, we welcomed two new teams to the mantrailing community, joined by a well seasoned trailing team.
Wide variety of age from 18 months to 12 years, from 9kg up to 35kg, shows that regardless of their age or size, all dogs are able to learn new skills no matter the breed🐶
