I certainly do feel we should be classed as a essential service.

I've written to the Ministers for Health & Agriculture and requested that Animal Groomers be included in the list of essential services where the animal in question requires an appointment for it's long term health and welfare.

I know there are quite a few animal owners who are not in a position to undertake this work, in particular older people and those that have no access to the required tools.

This is also on the basis that the groomer abide to social distancing guidelines and manages from a H&S risk basis
