Dear clients,

It has been my joy and privilege to practice veterinary medicine here for the last 14 years. It is with some sadness that I am retiring from regular practice from 18th January. I will miss seeing all our wonderful clients and their beloved dogs and cats.

The practice has been taken over by Moate Vet Hospital, who will have all your records on file and look forward to continuing your pets care. Moate Vet Hospital is the midlands newest accredited companion animal hospital, with a recently refurbished building and facilities including in house bloods, digital x-ray, ultrasound etc as well as separate cattery and dog kennels. I am confident that Danny and his team will look after your pets with the utmost compassion and professionalism.

The office will remain open in Glasson for 2 weeks Monday 18th – Friday 29th (10am-1pm Mon – Fri) if you have any queries.

Its that time of year again.
Over the bank holiday weekend we've had 2 different dogs that ate rat poison. Please please keep rat poison (and all other poisons) out of reach of your pets at all times. It only takes a split second for them to ingest it. If your dog has eaten rat poison please phone us for advice asap. It will be necessary to get them to vomit it up (an injection may be necessary) and then treatment with Vitamin K (the antidote). With early intervention, treatment of most cases are successful.
