βοΈπΎ With the temperatures on the rise, please remember to take extra care of your animals and also look out for our wildlife.
Make sure pets always have:
πΆ Fresh clean water
π± Access to shade and cool areas
π Never leave animals in hot cars
πΎ Avoid walking dogs on hot pavements during peak heat
Wildlife also struggles in warm weather. A shallow dish of water left outside can make a huge difference for birds, hedgehogs, and other wild animals. π¦ποΈ
Please keep an eye out for signs of heatstroke including excessive panting, weakness, drooling, vomiting, or collapse. If concerned, contact your vet immediately.
A little kindness goes a long way. Together we can help protect animals and wildlife in our community this summer. βοΈ
