Woodside Mini Lops We are ethical and quality-focused rabbit breeders located in Galway, Ireland. We first bred and showed bunnies in Australia almost 20 years ago.

We specialised in breeding Dwarf Lop and Standard Rex in colours of seal point, siamese sable, siamese smoke and chinchilla. Breeding for temperament and health is our main focus in accordance with breed standards. In our time, our bunnies have done very well in the show ring, even winning a Best in Show at just 10weeks of age! Since relocating to Ireland in 2018, we have started our new venture in Mini Lops. Our bunnies have been sourced from reputable, ethical breeders across Ireland and imported from the UK. Mini lops will predominantly be coloured seal point, blue point and sables, but we do get the odd surprise! There may be other colourings that pop up in litters on occasion. We breed our bunnies ethically, meaning our does will only have a limited amount of litters in their lifetime with us before being retired to continue being pets. We offer lifetime support to new and existing bunny parents, and also a lifetime 'returns' policy should you be unable to look after your bunny anymore. If we have placed a bunny with you and for whatever reason they must be re-homed, we ask that you always contact us first before re-homing your bunny. All our bunnies will come with a lineage certificate, information sheet, change over feed and be wormed before leaving for their new homes. We now vaccinate all our babies prior to leaving for new homes. We recommend vaccinating your bunny against RHDV1 and RHDV2. We also recommend neutering your bunny when they reach approximately 6mths of age to protect against any hormonally driven behavioural changes and health issues as they grow. Although we don't hold a waiting list, we will be announcing all bunnies that are available for new homes on our page. We welcome any enquiries via facebook, email or phone/text.

🐰🐰🐰🐰PSA🐰🐰🐰🐰

We’ve had a good few messages looking for babies for Christmas this year.

Our next planned mini lop litters won’t be available until February/March, if not April 2027. Our last litter will be leaving for new homes next weekend.

We do have two litters of German Lops, a bit bigger than the mini lop but that’s the only difference. They will be 8-9 weeks at the end of November/beg December. That’s all for us this year.

More than happy to help with any enquiries in the meantime, however this post may answer the question of availability (or lack of) for mini lops this year ☺️

❤️Koa aka Koko❤️
It’s taken me this long to really adjust to losing our beautiful boy last month.
He wasn’t just a phenomenal mini lop and a fantastic example of his breed of bunny. He was first and foremost the sweetest, most loving baby who stole my heart the moment he was born here.
The tears never stopped flowing the day he left us and for days after.
He leaves behind so many babies, nieces, nephews, grandbabies all over Ireland.
A special daughter is here with us and now her baby - Sheeva and Aelwyn. Both truly so much like him.
He may be gone but he’ll never be forgotten. What a special place in our hearts bunnies take up. Better to have loved and lost, than never have loved at all ❤️

This absolute little pocket rocket legend is Casper - a beautiful example of a true mini lop both in size, health and personality. He’s our current top man here at Woodside Mini Lops after losing our heart bunny Koa last month. He has his first babies on the ground now, two of which will be staying here!

Two separate litters of German Lops here! In the older litter (mega chunky beans now!) we have three boys and two girls!!! The second litter of six is currently unknown, they’re just too small 🙈🙈 Both mums are doing a stellar job at raising their babies, and Proud daddy Gus is just having a blast being Gus 😂
