Woodside Mini Lops We are ethical and quality-focused rabbit breeders located in Galway, Ireland. We first bred and showed bunnies in Australia almost 20 years ago.

We specialised in breeding Dwarf Lop and Standard Rex in colours of seal point, siamese sable, siamese smoke and chinchilla. Breeding for temperament and health is our main focus in accordance with breed standards. In our time, our bunnies have done very well in the show ring, even winning a Best in Show at just 10weeks of age! Since relocating to Ireland in 2018, we have started our new venture i

n Mini Lops. Our bunnies have been sourced from reputable, ethical breeders across Ireland and imported from the UK. Mini lops will predominantly be coloured seal point, blue point and sables, but we do get the odd surprise! There may be other colourings that pop up in litters on occasion. We breed our bunnies ethically, meaning our does will only have a limited amount of litters in their lifetime with us before being retired to continue being pets. We offer lifetime support to new and existing bunny parents, and also a lifetime 'returns' policy should you be unable to look after your bunny anymore. If we have placed a bunny with you and for whatever reason they must be re-homed, we ask that you always contact us first before re-homing your bunny. All our bunnies will come with a lineage certificate, information sheet, change over feed and be wormed before leaving for their new homes. We now vaccinate all our babies prior to leaving for new homes. We recommend vaccinating your bunny against RHDV1 and RHDV2. We also recommend neutering your bunny when they reach approximately 6mths of age to protect against any hormonally driven behavioural changes and health issues as they grow. Although we don't hold a waiting list, we will be announcing all bunnies that are available for new homes on our page. We welcome any enquiries via facebook, email or phone/text.

We were lucky enough to have three of our rescue hamsters travel to their forever homes within the past few days!

First to go was Syrian hamster Mario, who was surrendered to us after his owner was no longer able to care for him. Mario had an amazing enclosure setup that his owner was more than happy to donate to ensure his hamster would have a great life. Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long for Mario to be snapped up! We're really happy for this little guy who deserves the very best!

Ham Solo - now known as Ham Solo Hamborghini! - went to his forever home at the weekend. He now lives with the most lovely family who no doubt love him to pieces! We're so glad to see him settling in so well already.

Wendy, the mum of our recent litter that tragically had to be put to sleep, was also adopted this weekend by our trustee Steph! We're so happy that Wendy has found a home to call her own!

Expected higher temperatures over the next few days - keep your bunnies cool! Heat will kill bunnies and small furries very quickly - shade, fans, frozen water bottles and tiles are just some suggestions to keep the heat at bay. If you’re able to bring your bunnies inside on tiles, even better! Take care out there this week.
