How can someone rely on another person saying “my dog is socialised” “my dog is well trained”. Typically, puppies are improperly socialised and not exposed to enough breeds. But who can give the correct guidence and information when socialising a puppy? A qualified behaviourst can, this is the only person who can. 🇨🇮 ❤️❤️

Dog reactivity via Resource Gaurding! Owners should never allow dogs, especially of this size give themselves the opportunity to resource gaurd. This could have ended so badly for the chihuahua

Recall Training! Make it fun and make it mean something. Very important to teach the word associated with recall. Very important to teach a dog that a reward based reinforcement will be associated with that action when they’ve responded to a que. 🇨🇮 ❤️❤️

Hello everyone,

My name is Ashley Rogers and I am an Animal Behaviour Specialist and Trainer. I have a BSc (Hons) Applied Animal Behaviour and Training and a MSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I am based in Ireland and work all over the country.
Today I am giving back and raising funds in aid of Husky Rescue Ireland and every donation will help. Today I am travelling to Husky Rescue Ireland to profile some long term dogs for the team. We will be sharing some progress that we make with the dogs on site and discuss suitable homes for the dogs that are on site. This is a voluntary service day that I try and participate in to help the rescues in my country.

I will also be providing a live seminar day for people who have dogs of any age and breed to provide them with the knowledge and skills when integrating a dog into their home, rescue or not. The do’s and the dont’s of dog training and how to read your dogs behaviour. Appropriate socialising and basic training tips.

No matter how little, anything is a help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much and to me.
