Dewi Second Chemotherapy.

Today Dewi has undergone her second chemotherapy. Dewi's condition during the second chemotherapy was getting better than the previous day, the swelling in her nose had also improved, and there was no more mucus coming out of her nose.
Hopefully Dewi recovers quickly from her illness.

We got some dogs on the street, and these dogs have not been vaccinated, our foundation currently still lacks funds to provide vaccines so we need donations for them. Dewi was previously a stray dog who had no place to live, and when it rained she was forced to take shelter on a resident's terrace. Because they saw Dewi always sleeping and making people's terraces dirty, finally the residents looked for someone who wanted to adopt Dewi. Dewi was adopted by one of the residents from Panti village, and after a few days the person who adopted Dewi reported that Dewi's nose was quite swollen. We from the North Bali Foundation Metayana Team and Srikandi Animal Care went straight to the location to check on Dewi's condition, after that Srikandi Animal Care carried out an examination on Dewi. Most likely there is a tumor in her nose so we have to do chemotherapy to cure the tumor. Today, January 11 2024, Dewi has had her first chemotherapy. Currently Dewi's condition is still unstable because her nose is still swollen, she can only breathe through her mouth. Her appetite will decrease when the swelling in her nose recurs, and for now Dewi is still in the healing process. Hopefully Dewi can recover fully, and we will continue to provide information regarding Dewi's health developments. The latest information about the cats we sterilized yesterday, last Friday we sterilized 2 cats in Nyongshangyang, Kaliasem village. These 2 kittens are currently still in custody at Srikandi Animal Care because the owner (Mrs. Ramida) is old and we are afraid that she will not be able to care for her cat because it is still injured, so we decided to care for these cats at Srikandi Animal Care until their wounds and condition stabilize. We just received information from Srikandi Animal Care that these cats can be picked up on Monday, considering that their condition is getting better day by day. Distemper virus!!
