Our new Bird Mansion is like Netflix to the cats 😀

We have 2 pigeons in our care. Both arrived injured, and the bigger one of them still cannot fly well enough to survive in freedom. We will release them together once they both are fully recovered.

Yes, we are a cat rescue but we love all animals. And recently it's been birds that keep coming.

This big boy was just brought in and he gets to stay a while. He has a bad rash in his nose. It looks pretty bad in the photo, he managed to scratch all scabs out, but hopefully will dry out and start healing.

He's not too happy about having to wear a stupid collar, but we need to keep his paws away from his nose now.

Hope he will get better soon!

Little Fin with worried eyes ❤️

Fin came to stay with us yesterday, so we can try figure out why he's not feeling very good at the moment. He's not eating much, he's vomiting a bit, and he's just not his usual happy self.

He's very opinionated, meowing loudly to protest being locked up in a cage. He's active and purring a lot, but we want him to get his appetite back and start eating like a growing little kitty should be eating.

Let's hope he'll start feeling better soon!

This week's been pigeon mayhem! We got 2 injured pigeons. Luckily both are doing pretty ok.

The bigger one cannot fly properly just yet, has a wing injury. The smaller one is absolytely fine, but refused to fly to freedom when I tried to release him. So both are still staying and maybe it's a good thing, to be together with a friend.

We've busy with cats too, of course, but we love all animals, so we do take in birds, and other creatures, when needed.

Tiny Tumeric is doing great and she's like a little monkey, climbing everywhere.

She had some health issues last week, leaky diarrhoea mostly, and she was quite miserable. Her new mommycat and brother had it too, so there's been lots and lots of p**p cleaning happening!

Everyone us doing much better this week so things looking good again!

Meow! This little kitten was just brought in. What a cutie! She's a bit skinny and has diarrhea, but other than that seems ok. She is eating well, was hungry like a wolf when arrived!

We will keep her for a little while, just to make sure nothing else is ongoing. She will get deworming, lots of good food and some extra vitamins. Once she's gained a bit weight she can go back home to her family.

Meow! All is well at our shop! Huge new cat painting on one of the shop walls is progressing, slowly slowly but progressing a little nonetheless.

Our charity shop is open as usual. And hopefully the painting will be finished in the next few days, and things will get back to normal, and most of our kittens can move back! (The kittens are staying at GrumpyOldCatlady's house temporarily, they were a bit too paws-on and helpful with the paints so was impossible to do painting with them around 😂)

New kitten in da Meowquarters! 400 grams of ginger cuteness arrived today and so far all looks good. Kitten, named Tumeric by her rescuers, is eating good, is active and showing lot of personality already.

Ginger cats... They're special and we love her already!

At the back wall you can see the huge cat painting that's coming up. Gonna be ready around year million, it feels, but slowly, slowly. Little progress every day!
