HERPING is an activity in searching for Reptiles and Amphibians in nature. Herping normally doing by professional and amateur herpetologist which can take place any time, anywhere both day time or night time. Many techniques of herping can be implemented depending on the target of the species.

Herping is not hunting or capturing. Take only pictures, leave only footprints.

Herping requires good preparation, the herping tools must be the main concern. The equipment needed for herping includes a water-resistant headlamp and a backup flashlight, pens and a field notebook, collapsible snake hooks and tongs, lightweight daypack or f***y pack, water bottle, compass, and camera. Trousers, outdoor shoes, hat, and glasses (if necessary) are the mandatory outfit for herping.

Telah dilaksanakan kegiatan Seminar Penanganan Gigitan Ular dengan tema "Pentingnya Penanggulangan Gigitan Ular di Indonesia" pada hari Sabtu, 1 Maret 2025 di Ibis Styles Bali Denpasar oleh Bali Reptile Park.

Seminar Penanganan Gigitan Ular ini mendatangkan dua Narasumber Ahli dibidangnya yaitu Dr. dr. Tri Maharani, M.Si., Sp.EM dan Ronald P.H. Lilley.
Acara seminar ini diikuti 130 peserta luring dan 845 peserta daring yang meliputi akademisi, rumah sakit, klinik, puskesmas,instansi pemerintah, TNI, perusahaan, komunitas dan petugas kebun binatang.
