Job Opening: Head Barista (Lembur Hiling)
The Mission:
At Lembur Hiling, we are not just serving coffee; we are engineering a new “Social Beverage Culture.” We are looking for a Head Barista who can lead our beverage program, blending world-class coffee standards with the soul of Modern Sundanese Gastronomy. You will be responsible for standardizing quality across our expanding locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead & Mentor: Manage, train, and inspire a team of baristas to maintain elite service standards.
• Menu Engineering: Innovate and refine our signature beverage menu, including the modernization of traditional Sundanese drinks (Bajigur, Bandrek, etc.) to a global standard.
• Quality Control: Ensure 100% consistency in every cup through rigorous SOPs and technical precision.
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, supplier relations, and equipment maintenance with high financial accountability.
Requirements:
• Leadership Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a high-volume, premium café or specialty coffee environment (Experience leading a team of 10+ is preferred).
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (essential for communicating our brand vision to international guests and partners).
• Technical Mastery: Advanced knowledge of espresso extraction, latte art, manual brew methods, and sensory analysis.
• Innovation Mindset: Passionate about “Modern-Traditional Fusion”—the ability to elevate local ingredients using modern techniques.
• Professional Integrity: A “Systems-over-Luck” mindset. You value data, cleanliness, and standardized operational procedures.
