A woman has reached out asking if anyone can take in a pregnant mother cat. Unfortunately, we do not have a separate room suitable for a pregnant cat.

She is expected to give birth very soon. The woman who has been caring for her for the past few weeks will soon be returning to her home country. If no one is able to help this pregnant cat, she is considering euthanasia. 🫩

She is willing to provide financial support for the cat's care.

Is there anyone who could help this mother cat and give her a safe place to stay? ❤️🐾

Poppy is finally back home. She was bathed at the clinic, but she still smells a bit like eucalyptus oil. Thankfully, she looks healthy 💪and is eating very well.

We sincerely, truly thank everyone who worried about Poppy and sent their kindness and support. ❤️🙏

This afternoon, two women brought in a tiny kitten. Its whole body was sticky, probably because it had gotten trapped in rat glue. They said they had tried to remove it with eucalyptus oil, but couldn’t. Eucalyptus is toxic to cats 😡😡😡 and they used it on such a small kitten.

I told them to take the kitten to the vet as soon as possible, but one of them asked why she should, saying it wasn’t her responsibility. No matter whose responsibility it is, how could someone say that while looking at a suffering baby kitten?

The woman kept asking me, “This kitten probably won’t survive, right?”
I told her again and again that the kitten could survive if it was taken to the vet. I still can’t understand how anyone could say those words in front of a living kitten fighting to stay alive.

I was so upset by what she said that I simply took the kitten inside. I used cooking oil to remove some of the glue, gave the kitten food, and then took it to the vet a little later. The eucalyptus toxin needs to be removed from the kitten’s body.

A foreigner woman just handed a cat to one of our staff and left without saying anything.
We feel this was a very irresponsible and disrespectful action.

By doing this, all responsibility has been left to us. We already have 72 cats in our care, and it has become far beyond what we can reasonably handle. We are struggling every day to provide food, medicine, and proper care for all of them.

We are truly sorry, but we are not an animal shelter.
Please do not abandon cats here.

We are already doing our best every single day to cover the costs of food, medical treatment, and daily care for the cats we currently have. If the number of cats continues to increase, we may no longer be able to properly care for the cats already living here, and it could eventually put our cafe at risk of closing.

We sincerely hope for your understanding and kindness.🙏
