Training tip: People ask constantly “how can you handle so many dogs in one house hold” and truth be told it’s not just training!! Dogs are incredibly intelligent and while good training and socialization can build a great foundation allowing dogs to build their own personality and sense of boundaries is what can truly make or break having a larger pack of dogs! We encourage simple “corrections” dogs setting boundaries goes so far in the long run but the key is to be able to notice the difference between what’s considered boundaries and what’s considered aggression. We take pride in making sure each of our dogs individual needs are met which ensures their health and happiness, training doesn’t mean forcing your dog into things they aren’t comfortable with it just causes high tension and stress which can lead to all of the dogs being unhappy and overwhelmed but when you allow your dog to freely express their individual personalities and boundaries while still enforcing training and correcting wrongs from rights you end up with dogs who not only listen and respect rules and training but dogs that are truly happy to be where they are!

Our boy GOTTI! Such an amazing dog his leash manners are incredible. He constantly has slack in the leash with no pulling, has learned to direct himself and who he is with away from cars, has learned to stop and start walking on command, even without a leash he has learned to take long walks side by side without taking off. Even paisley a 2 year old little girl is able to easily walk gotti without a single issue

Before the end of May Asgard Compound will be fully opening to new clients for full grooming and training services. Its been a long time dream of ours and after starting in 2018 and having to put a pause on things so we could try to grow our family we are so excited to be finally here. As things finish up around here we will release the date of when we will start taking more clients and all of our services will be fully listed with pricing. So please bare with us as a lot of big updates and posts will be coming in the coming weeks. Once things are finally done and finalized we will be a lot more active on our socials with videos of our services, our dogs, and everything we do and offer! In the mean time remember training and consistency is the key. So get out there and do it. You'll build a confidence happy living dog and a wonderful relationship. Involve the kids in the training too. Make it a family thing. They are family members too after all.

Standard Pocket Bully Stud, Odin is ABR and AKC registered, OFA health tested, proof of bloodline, and we have pictures of pups from his past litter. No Merle in his pedigree but he is a carrier for the Tri gene. His parents are grand champions and blue and purple ribbon winners. Willing to travel depending on distance DM if interested in our stud.

Tip of the day:
A breeder should be breeding to better the breed not breeding for profit, because of what's popular or for another reason beside growing a breed for the better. When looking for a breeder you need to ensure they are breeding the breeds standard not a fade. Ask for health testing ask how often the dams are being bred ask if they are raised in home has shots, dewormings that the parents and lineage is a good pairing. Do your research. Be informed. When done ethically breeding can be a great thing and produce amazing dogs for working and for companionship.

Training tip of the day:
Dont be afraid of training tools E-collars are a very effective tool when training guardian and bully breeds. They have a bad reputation like prong collars but when used correctly they are wonderful training tools and can really help your dog reach its full potential in their training. (As always know your breed, know your dog, educate yourself and then other! Consistency is the key)
