A remarkable story from China has gone viral after seven stolen dogs managed to escape their captors and make their way back home together. According to AsiaOne, the dogs were taken from their homes in Jilin province and loaded onto a truck by thieves who intended to sell them to a dog meat shop. During the journey, the dogs broke free and stuck together as a pack, beginning a trek that covered nearly 17 kilometers.
What captured the public’s attention was not only their escape but the way they traveled in formation, navigating highways and rural roads side by side. The group included different breeds such as a German Shepherd, a Golden Retriever, and a Corgi, with the Corgi often leading the way. Videos shared online showed the dogs huddling together and cautiously crossing traffic, which quickly spread across social media and drew millions of views.
The dogs completed their journey in about two days before finally reaching their village and reuniting with their owners. Eyewitnesses were amazed by their loyalty and teamwork, noting that the dogs never separated during the long trek. Their safe return was celebrated as a powerful example of resilience and companionship.
