We have been off for a while, but reason why will make you WOOW!
We have a great honour to introduce you our last judge and this will be hopefully great reason to enter our show!
Ladies and gentleman we present you mrs Linda Voláriková from Slovakia!
I got my first dog, an English Springer Spaniel, in 1989, and I have been deeply involved with everything concerning dogs ever since then. I won the search and rescue championship in Slovakia with this Springer and we also tried agility.
My first show dog was an American Cocker Spaniel just two years later. Didn't have much success with him, but fell in love with this breed so much that I breed and show them till the present time. Under my prefix LAYTON in very limited breeding, I have bred so far 66 champions, including 41 Interchampions, several all-breed Best in Show winners and a World Show Best of Breed. I have also bred one litter of Dobermanns in the 90s and in the recent years our household is ruled by a Whippet, which was also successful at dog shows.
I started judging in 2002, my first breed was, of course, the American Cocker Spaniel. Since then I am approved to judge many more breeds within all of the FCI groups and I have been honoured to judge in 40 countries, including three European shows and three World Shows. I like judging also the junior handling competition, as I very much appreciate the devotion of the young people to the dog world and I like supporting them in our hobby.
I went to school in the USA so I speak fluent English, that is why at many shows, not only in Slovakia, but also at World, European or other important winner shows, I have acted as the main ring announcer, which gives me so much experience in looking at the dogs closely, but also studying the different breeds in detail, as I like doing a lot of preparation work prior to the job.
