World Antimicrobial Awareness Week

CityU VDL encourages you to celebrate World Antimicrobial Awareness Week with the 2022 theme “Preventing antimicrobial resistance together”

CityU VDL is committed to responsible antimicrobial stewardship and the highest scientific standards in the use of antibiotics. All of our antibiotic panels have been developed taking into account the latest Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) guidelines, good antimicrobial stewardship including the conservation and controlled use of high-importance antibiotics, and we are continually tailored these taking into account the local Hong Kong situation (high antibiotic resistance) and feedback from clinicians. We have strong collaborative links with academics within the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Science who also provide guidance.
