【每年一度DOGGER 小知識-狗隻中暑🌡】
炎炎夏日，氣溫非常高。炎熱的天氣會對狗隻的健康構成威脅。這是由於狗隻沒有健全的散熱系統，身體容易過熱。當狗隻體溫升至40至41度時，可能會中度中暑。如果立即為中度中暑的狗隻進行急救並把狗隻送往獸醫診所治療，狗隻可能會康復。當狗隻體溫升至攝氏41度以上時，狗隻可能已經重度中暑，牠可能會有生命危險，此時應該立即把狗隻送往獸醫診所接受治療。
狗隻中暑的症狀
📍過度氣喘
📍心跳加快
📍焦慮不安／抑鬱
📍虛弱
📍牙肉會乾涸發紅，若狗隻休克，其牙肉或會呈灰白色
嘔吐
📍腹瀉
📍痙攣

狗隻中暑時的處理方法
-經常為狗隻檢查身體，查看狗隻有否出現中暑的症狀。
-立即將你的狗隻帶往較為涼爽的地方，例如陰涼處或有冷氣開放的建築物。
-用直腸溫度計為你的狗隻量度體溫，如果體溫超過40度，就要帶牠去看獸醫。
-用冰水噴濕、輕塗或噴塗狗隻兩側腋窩下及股溝處可以幫助牠降低體溫。
-如果有風扇的話，將風扇開到強度對著狗隻，可以幫助牠降低體溫。
-每隔數分鐘就要再次替你的狗隻探熱，直至狗隻體溫降至39.4度為止，然後停止涼水治療法。
如果你的狗隻可以自行喝水的話，應為其提供大量的清涼、乾淨的清水。
用注射器餵狗隻喝涼水，或提供冰塊給牠咀嚼。待狗隻情況好轉後，你應讓獸醫替狗隻檢查，以確保沒有出現併發症。經過適當治療後，你的狗隻就可以完全康復。
天氣炎熱時，你應準備好以下各項：

How to deal with heat stroke in dogs
-Check your dog's body frequently to see if the dog has symptoms of heat stroke.
- Immediately take your dog to a cooler location, such as shade or an air-conditioned building.
-Take your dog's temperature with a re**al thermometer. If it's over 40 degrees, take him to the vet.
- Spraying, lightly coating or spraying the dog's armpits and groin with ice water can help lower its body temperature.
-If there is a fan, turn it on to high intensity and point it at the dog to help lower its body temperature.
- Check your dog's temperature again every few minutes until the dog's temperature drops to 39.4 degrees, and then stop the cold water treatment.
If your dog can drink on its own, provide it with plenty of cool, clean water.
Feed your dog only cold water from a syringe, or provide ice cubes for him to chew. Once your dog's condition improves, you should have your dog checked by your veterinarian to make sure there are no complications. With proper treatment, your dog can make a full recovery.
When the weather is hot, you should prepare the following:
Return plan for outdoor activities, with shaded areas along the way
